Come out for a lowkey picnic and vetting session to get to know current and prospective CSRA members, get vetted, and learn more about the org. We’ll have some limited snacks and drinks on hand, but feel free to BYO (blanket, snack, beverage). We’ll be on the grass just a bit east of the boathouse gallery with a few camp chairs, a folding table, and some blankets to spread out on.

If it rains, we’ll be under the shelter of the boathouse gallery.

This event is open to both current and prospective members. If you're a current member who can help out with vetting, we encourage you to do so!

Accessibility info: The boathouse has ramp access and paths have ramp access from the parking lot by the boathouse. There will be a slight dip from the paved path to grass.

Getting there: There is a parking lot at the boathouse for those who are driving. Those taking transit can take the 94 California bus to California and Potomac and proceed .2 miles down a paved path towards the boathouse.

NOTE: Pursuant to the Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act, 430 ILCS 66/65(a)(18), concealed carry of a firearm in a public park is prohibited. Please do not bring any firearm to this event.
