The CSRA Social Day Coordinators would like to invite you to our March social event, Austin Awesomeness! Join us for card games, snacks, sodas, and socializing at the Austin Branch of the Chicago Public Library on Sunday, March 8, from 2:15pm–4pm CST.

The Austin Branch can be reached by the Green Line train, as well as the 20, 66, and 85 buses. The Austin Branch has no dedicated parking, but there is street parking in the immediate area. The Austin Branch is wheelchair-accessible.

This event is open to both current members and prospective members who need to be vetted. If you’re a current member who can come help out with vetting, we highly encourage you to do so! New member registration is initially capped at 32 to ensure that the vetting teams can adequately vet all new members in the two-hour window, but more may be admitted from the waitlist if additional current members register to attend and can assist in vetting. Don't forget, we also have an April open house available for sign-up if this event is full!

The Austin Branch would like us to note that, pursuant to the Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act, 430 ILCS 66/65(a)(18), concealed carry of a firearm in “any building, real property, or parking area under the control of a public library” is prohibited. Please do not bring any firearms to this event.
