The CSRA Social Day Coordinators would like to invite you to our December social event, ToolBank Tomfoolery! Join us for card games, socializing, and light refreshments at the Windy City Tool Bank on December 11th from 7–9pm.

The Windy City ToolBank (a distinct organization from the Tool Library) serves community-based organizations by providing tools, equipment and expertise to empower their most ambitious goals. Multiple CSRA events, including this one, have been made possible due to their services. The CSRA would like to thank the Windy City ToolBank for generously providing this meeting space. The Windy City ToolBank can be reached via the 21 bus. There is limited parking in the loading bay on a first-come, first-served basis, otherwise there is street parking in the immediate surrounding area. The ToolBank is wheelchair-accessible via a ramp on the north side of the loading bay.

The property can be accessed via the primary entrance (the loading bay, demarcated by big yellow arrows on the wall) on S Carpenter St, or the secondary entrance (the parking lot) off of W 21st St. Please note that only the primary entrance is vehicle-accessible. The secondary entrance is a pedestrian gate which requires entering a temporary code to unlock the gate (provided in your registration confirmation email). Please see photos below for more details.

This event is open to both current members and prospective members who need to be vetted. If you’re a current member who can come help out with vetting, we highly encourage you to do so!
